Tie Aprons provides an online marketplace in which personal chefs, caterers and other individuals can list, offer, sell and deliver food items and meal orders to the general public, and customers can browse and purchase Meals (collectively, including the website and any related mobile applications). How we use your personal data will depend on the particular service we are providing and the nature of your relationship with us. To use our Services you must be 16 years of age or older. If you are under 16, you may not download or use the Services.

We work with ad partners, including advertisers on our platform and entities that belong to the Google group of companies, in order to show you more relevant and useful ads based on your Tie Aprons activity and information associated with your device’s identifier (i.e, Advertising identifiers or similar technologies) shared with us by our ad partners. Your device’s identifier can be managed in your device’s settings. You can decide whether we’ll show you personalized ads or not through your in-app Privacy Settings Ads personalization. Note: turning Ads personalization off does not turn off ads - only their personalization. For more information see section titled ‘Advertising campaigns’ under this Privacy Policy. We collect information via communication which you choose to conduct through the Tie Aprons Services. If you choose to use Tie Aprons to communicate with other Tie Aprons users or third parties through the Tie Aprons Services, such as chat messages on the Tie Aprons platform. We may also collect information when you exchange communication with Tie Aprons, for example, if you submit a request, contact Tie Aprons’s support team, or report a violation to the abuse team. When you visit, use and interact with the Service, we may receive certain information about your visit, use or interactions. For example, we may monitor the number of people that visit the Service, peak hours of visits, which page(s) you visit, which links you click, what text you enter, how your mouse moves around the Service, the domains you come from (e.g., google.com, facebook.com, etc.), and which browsers you use to access the Service (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.), broad geographical information, and navigation patterns. Tie Aprons will not share your personal information with others, without your permission, except for the following purposes and to the extent necessary in Tie Aprons’s good-faith discretion. DATA RETENTION

We keep Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is the longer.

We will delete personal data once the relevant retention period expires. After such date, you will not be able to exercise some of your rights over your personal data. In general, we keep the length of time that we hold your personal data for under review. These reviews take place annually.

If you are a registered member of the Service, you may make changes to the information you have provided in connection with your account by logging in to your account and changing the applicable information through the “Edit Account” option.
